A. Lange & Söhne

Private 1815 Rattrapante Brand Salon

CHALLENGE

How do you create an impactful experience for guests who have experienced everything? A. Lange & Söhne, makers of fine German timepieces, asked INVNT to create an exclusive experience that would engage their best customers, collectors, and enthusiasts — ultra-high net worth individuals who share a passion for fine watches — in the launch of their new ‘Summer Novelty,’ the 1815 Rattrapante.

STRATEGY

We began by securing the use of a private luxury home in Beverly Hills, CA., itself exemplifying ultimate craftsmanship and attention to detail. We then built the entire experience around horology, the art and science of watchmaking. Beyond having first-look access at the new timepiece, guests also had the unique privilege of meeting and learning from the craftspeople behind the brand.

Guests also had one-on-one access to CEO Wilhelm Schmid and Brand President Rudy Chavez, who told brief and engaging stories about the craftsmanship that went into every handcrafted timepiece. Several exclusive A. Lange & Söhne chronographs were on display, which guests could inspect at their leisure. The ultimate highlight for these enthusiasts though was interacting with watchmaker Bernd Schneider as he demonstrated the incredible skill and detail that goes into the making of an ALS Chronograph.

IMPACT

INVNT provided a unique, exclusive, and memorable experience that resonated with one of the most difficult to reach audience segments on the planet, all while bringing them closer to the brand in the process.
